The student team of the UCU Master’s Program in Law in Human Rights will take part in the Grande Final of the European Human Rights Moot Court Competition (EHRMCC), one of the most prestigious international moot court competitions in human rights. The competition will take place from 1 to 5 May 2018 in Strasbourg, France.
Taking part in the final will be 20 of the best teams of Europe. Based on the results of the written round, students and graduates of the UCU Master’s Program in Law in Human Rights Oleksandr Kozhukhar, Olena Kandya, Mary Grynyshyn, and Khrystyna Derkach compose one of the teams that will go to the final at the European Court of Human Rights.
This year’s case involves the conformity of the policy of mandatory vaccinations to the European Convention on Human Rights, in particular, the implementation of such a policy for representatives of certain religious communities whose beliefs do not allow vaccinations.
