LL.M in Human Rights is an 18-month academic program for lawyers that will provide training by the best Ukrainian and foreign lecturers. Graduates of the program will be well prepared to initiate human rights activities, with an emphasis on efforts aimed at protecting human rights and freedoms. Students who successfully complete their Masters will be able to pursue a full range of employment opportunities within international organizations and state institutions, and also legal firms with a human rights practice, indicating the relevance of this specialty in the field of practical jurisprudence.
The tuition for LL.M in Human Rights is 45 000 UAH per student (or the equivalent of $4,500 USD as of June 2016). Acknowledging the fact that the cost of this tuition is an unrealistic expense for the majority of Ukrainian applicants, we offer admitted students a reduced tuition of 45 000 UAH, a 40 percent reduction in the total cost, with the University contributing the remaining balance from its funds.
The Ukrainian Catholic University is a non-profit, higher education private institution, and does not receive any funding from the state. To keep our doors open to students and continue running our educational programs, the UCU partners with benefactors who fund student scholarships, providing them with financial assistance while also contributing to the institutional development of the programs at our university.
We welcome you to establish a scholarship for students admitted to LL.M in Human Rights, in your name or on behalf of your organization. We offer you the option of choosing between a Semester Scholarship ($1,500 USD) and an Annual Scholarship ($3,000 USD), which are both awarded based on academic achievement; or a Full Scholarship ($4,5000 USD) for our Program students. We are confident your support will set a good example and encourage other benefactors to establish scholarships to support the law students in our Program.
