In February, the UCU Law School started its legal clinic. Students of the Master’s Program of the UCU Law School provide legal assistance, under the direction of the manager of the legal clinic and practicing lawyers. The first partner to join in the clinic’s work was Hrynchuk & Partners Law Firm.
Hrynchuk & Partners Law Firm will provide expert, organizational, and financial support for activities throughout 2018:
«The support of professional lawyers is very important for the UCU Law School Legal Clinic. More and more people who need legal help are turning to us every week,» explained Khrystyna Kovtsun, manager of the legal clinic.
As Ms. Kovtsun indicated, the spectrum of problematic questions that people ask is widening. The mentorship of Hrynchuk & Partners Law Firm allows the Law School to provide legal help at a high level, strengthened by the legal expertise of consultants.
«At the stage of making decisions, what algorithm of actions to propose to a client, taking into account all the risks, advice is important for consultants, as is the mentorship of professionals, which the lawyers of Hrynchuk & Partners Law Firm will help us with,» emphasized the manager of the legal clinic. «Expert and financial support will allow us to take on more and more complicated and even strategic cases.»
This is not the first time that Hrynchuk & Partners Law Firm is supporting the UCU Law School. Every year one of the entrants of the Master’s Program of the UCU Law School receive a scholarship from the firm. Also, Andriy Hrynchuk is a member of the school’s Advisory Council.
«We at the company want to be involved with creating a law school at which we ourselves would like to study,» admitted Andriy Hrynchuk.
Note: Free legal help is available for people in vulnerable levels of the population and those who have suffered from the war.
